solutions by stc named official sponsor of Saudi national team

solutions by stc, the Saudi leading ICT company, has been announced as the official sponsor of the Saudi national team in the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) finals, to be held in Dortmund, Germany, from November 17 to 19, 2022.
The sponsorship follows an agreement between solutions by stc and the Saudi Wireless, Remote-Control & robots Sports Federation “Tahakoom”, which was signed by Eng. Muataz bin Abdullah AlDharrab, Chief Strategy Officer in solutions by stc; and Wael bin Mohammad Al-Sarhan, Chairman of the Saudi Wireless, Remote-Control & robots Sports Federation.
The Saudi national team, which includes 17 participants, clinched the first position at the Kingdom’s National Robot Olympiad in October of last year.
The sponsorship underpins “solutions” role in catalyzing the digital transformation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in line with Vision 2030, supporting and empowering national talent, encouraging Saudi students to participate in global competitions, and enabling the Saudi Wireless, Remote-Control & robots Sports Federation to increase the number of wireless sport practitioners.
The World Robot Olympiad highlights talents in the age group of 8-19 years in robotics, AI and programming using the STEM methodology. Where the Saudi team compete in five different categories to globally represent the Saudi Arabia.
