solutions by stc, the Kingdom’s and the region’s leading enabler of digital transformation, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Project Management Institute, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (PMIKSA) to strengthen academic and professional collaboration by leveraging the world-class expertise and resources of both entities with the aim of optimizing individual and organizational performance besides driving capacity building and nationalization efforts in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The strategic partnership will come into effect through a joint collaborative framework that seeks to upskill the workforce at solutions by stc with best practices in project management through PMI-KSA accredited workshops, enable knowledge transfer through field visits across the Kingdom, and establish a professional development ecosystem for project managers based on active participation in professional courses and events at home and abroad.
Emphasizing the significance of the PMI partnership, Eng Saleh Alzahrani, chief Technology officer at solutions by stc, stated, “As the driver of the Kingdom’s digital transformation, it is crucial for us to empower our team members with the knowledge and knowhow that will help them equip our clients and customers with the tools and tricks for disruption and digitalization.” He added, “Entering this partnership with PMI-KSA will supercharge our change makers to chase excellence across their professional pursuits.”
For his part, Eng. The agreement will also see the Kingdom’s top ICT service provider and the leading global authority in project management develop joint benchmarks for shared activities, hold educational programs and scientific conferences at the company’s offices and facilities, encourage employees to take part in the prestigious Excellence Awards, as well as explore future collaboration avenues that bolster overall competitiveness, value delivery and enterprise-led innovation.
