The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture signed a memorandum of understanding with solutions by stc, aiming to strengthen and support collaborative efforts in utilizing modern and emerging technologies to implement the digital transformation strategy within the ministry.
The memorandum was signed on the sidelines of the Digital Government Forum held in Riyadh from December 19 to 20, 2023. Representing the ministry, Dr. Abdulhamid bin Abdullah Al-Olaywi, the General Director of the General Administration for Information Technology and Digital Transformation, signed the memorandum. On behalf of solutions by stc, Engineer Thamer bin Ali Al-Ghamdi, the General Manager for Government Sales, signed the agreement.
The memorandum seeks to support the implementation of digital transformation strategic initiatives, enhance the use of modern and emerging technologies, and work on boosting the digital capabilities and skills of the ministry’s staff. This aims to support the execution of the ministry’s digital transformation strategy, in addition to fostering mutual collaboration in building technical integrations and developing applications.
This agreement aligns with the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, which aims to enhance and support coordination in the field of technology and digital transformation. The ministry is committed to activating collaboration with various institutions and specialized companies in advanced technological fields to keep pace with digital transformation developments, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
